i think the United - St Etienne match was moved because there were two matches really closeby that would have been scheduled for the same day in France

Yeah, UEFA doesn't allow 2 games to be scheduled in the same city on the same day.... although St Ettiene and Lyon aren't technicaly in the same city.

St Ettiene is very close to Lyon. They're not in the same city, but I think the distance between the is something like the distance between Dortmund and Gelsenkirchen (so very, very close)... so UEFA might just consider them as one city due to small distance that separates them (they probably have to use the same airport, etc, which could cause some chaos I guess).

Besiktas and Fenerbahce are both from Istanbul, so there's that.
