Is Klopp overrated?

Maybe... one can't tell yet.
At least not based on the fact that he took over a team in bad shape that was built towards the idea and playing style of another manager.
And certainly not based on the arguments in the article that was posted. As someone else already pointed out, the article is utter crap.

What IS overrated though?

BPL.

With regards to the great finincial situation of all of its teams and with regards to the "big names" competing for the champioship each year, BPL should be in a lot better shape.
But on the contrary, BPL somehow managed to become the most underdeveloped league regarding young talents or youth academies, homegrown players, tactical education of players and coaches amongst many other things.
The BPL teams continue spending tons of money for overrated and average-at-best players with under-average tactical education, therefore losing ground in basically every other aspect of football other than money when compared to even smaller leagues like in Portugal, Belgium or the Netherlands, let alone Spain and Germany.

BPL teams are not strong enough when you consider their wealth of resources, that's for sure.

However it's still the most entertaining league and the league with the strongest teams on average. Teams like Stoke, West Ham, Everton etc would destroy teams similarly placed in opposing leagues like the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 or La Liga. What the premier league lacks, and has lacked since the Ferguson era, are strong teams at the top.

Name wise or cash wise they would destroy Bundesliga teams for sure
Maybe even on individual class
Then again picking xx m € doesn't make you a team
That's why I am not so sure about your claim

If there was a league where 1st played 1st, 2nd played 2nd right down to 20th vs 20th, you'd see probably 15 of those games going in the premier league's favour. Just look at teams in your top 4 like Bayer Leverkusen that bend over for average teams like Man Utd in the champions league.
