when sterling was being played as a striker by rodgers in his last season with us, I was saying the same. He is very quick with average-above average technical ability and poor finishing.

quick wingers don't really get that much better with age, stop assuming everyone gets better with age because they don't. if he improved his finishing he'd be quite good, but there are plenty of players like that in the market for a lot cheaper.
