holy shitballs, what a mess. i could have handled a 1:0 victory for sweden and a safe early exit without a problem, especially since it was our only realistic chance to get rid of löw, but a draw would most definitely have been unbearable. 1 point after two matches while relying on mexico to beat sweden, all the talk and analysing until wednesday - no way. so i gotta admit that i celebrated kroos' goal more than i realistically should have for beating fucking sweden in a group game...

that being said though, rüdiger desperately tried to prove me right in the 12th minute, kroos' 4 yard assist to swedens goal, and the inexplicable lack of confidence towards the end of the first half were shocking.
and although i don't think anyone could claim this victory wasn't deserved, it's still shocking to see how many chances we wasted again, or even failed to properly create in the first place.

those last two performances clearly showed we're not amongst the favourites this year, and that's not exclusively but largely löw's fault as well. anyone who still rates him as a manager clearly doesn't have a clue what they're talking about...

imo nost german players just doesnt look fit physical, as you also could see in the german leauge and europe competitions this year. it has not really much to do with tactics and the coach imo. more with fitness

That actualy made me laugh

Well, we need a strong dribbler and a killer in front of the goal if it's also the bayern games you're talking about (for both Germany and Bayern)

E : you're might be right about some players being tired, Kimmich, Müller or even Kroos. But I think there is a big attitude issue too, Kimmich didn't even try against Mexico

Some players have their spot given and don't have to fight for it, and you clearly see it on the pitch

i'd agree with that for the mexico game and SOME of our clubs' performances in international competition. for today, however, i don't think that holds true. we pressured them all game, even when we were a man dow and it was clearly sweden that looked exhausted and outmatched towards the end. we'll see how it develops though. i'm not at all trying to talk up south korea, everything but a win against them would be embarrassing and a huge disappointment, but physically (in terms of fitness and conditioning) they are a very strong team, so we'll see how we'll look in our third game, with some less rest...

Not sure about fitness but it just looked like germany took a nap the 1st half
Kroos gives them the 1st goal and doesnt even mark the defender

But they looked so open against their counterattack

Def not the germany i remember
Wssted so many chances going for cheeky passes and plays rather than just attacking directly
Idk

Maybe this is german humor, bc that start was a joke

what a game, never count us out you fucks B)

kroos almost cost us the tournament and then scores a stunner

completely deserved win, werner had a great game
my boy müller was struggling, but had some nice scenes
most key passes, the özil lovers always name that kind of statistic, now i am doing it
gündogan ffs, he was absolutely pathetic
he is practically dead

so sorry for rudy, his nose is toast ffs
give that man a mask :D

the world champs are marching on

Marching on to a 7-1 defeat to Brazil my friend! :D

Just kidding of course, usually the world cup winners have bad - mediocre starts so it wouldn't surprise me if Germany won it again.

what are you talking about

our boys fought until the end and won
this attitude kept us alive today

btw i would like to point out boateng tonight
he had a great game and he even carried our midfield

his second yellow after another shocking pass was unfortunate, but thats how football is

cmon boys!!
