It's actually terrible news for Madrid. We already have a postponed match against Valencia, and since both Madrid and Celta are in european competitions, there isn't a single date left in the calendar, except for the final week of La Liga. This means that we will either have to play twice in the last week, or we will have to play 3 times in the week we have the Valencia game...
Honestly idk if it ws absolutely impossible for Celta to secure the stadium in 48 hours, but seeing how they've been wanting to cancel the game even since friday and haven't tried to provide a single solution, it does seem like they weren't very interested in playing such an intense game before their Copa semifinal this wednesday.
Also Celta already stated they will focus on the the Copa Del Rey and were going to play their reserves against you today
So rather than having an easy game today you have a massively congested schedule in the business end of the season
As usual, Madrid doing it the hard way
