Xhaka / OX / Alexis three of our best performing players in the pre season and none of them start?

ox comes on and scores. Chambers was horrible at CB why is it that the whole world see's we need a cb / striker?

$100+ pounds for tickets over 200million to spend on players...

Really is shocking. Everyone has been able to see for years we need a world class striker and a CB. How Wenger has gone on for this many years without signing one is insane.
The only reason I can think of is his ego. He cant admit hes been wrong about certain players and the team

Well, he signed Sanchez who's a striker. However, never to be played as a lone striker.
he also signed Gabriel, who imo is not even good.

You can always argue after the games. But yes something should've been done or maybe even play debuchy+monreal as CB's with Gibbs and Bellerin out on each side. Would have been more safe.
even Bielik would have been the wiser option. He rarely made a mistake in the preseason

Yesterdays game was :drool: from a neutral standpoint, however I'm not happy. I didn't expect much from yesterdays game since we are missing so many players but the selection choices were debatable.. Xhaka not starting is odd, same goes for the ox

Like they said on Arsenalfan tv (dunno if you guys watch), it was unfair of Wenger to play Holding vs Liverpool for 90 mins in his first game, Huge step up from the championship and conceding 4 goals will really crush his confidence, when it's not really his fault.
