problem with Mariano is that he wants to prove himself way too hard. There were times where he should have passed and just went for the shot, even though he wasn't in the right position to shoot.

He shot the ball like Zinedine, also that little pass and go with the outside of the boot and the way he let the ball run across him before shooting looked like his dad

Well it's hard for Mariano considering he isn't allowed to play for the b-team this year, so he's not getting any time to prove himself. I like his spirit...

And about Odegaard, yes, he does seem to have nice potential. I don't watch Castilla games, but I've read that he's playing well this season (he's much more adapted) and that he should be loaned to a higher level club.

I hope he keeps progressing... he's still so young so he might make it...



Yeah, the similarities are there... but let's not begin comparing them because it won't help him, obviously it's impossible to forget that he's Zidane's son, but after all he's 21 and only just receiving his first game with the seniors... we can't expect much and just let him develop and see where he ends up.

His son Luca is apparently doing really well in the youth levels as a keeper though
