Of course it's different when you have a world class striker like Suárez... I'm not saying Spurs is going to have a season like Liverpool's, I'm saying I can see them exceed their expectations. If they had a player like Suárez then they could have a season similar to the one Liverpool had... I think they have a good chance of finishing in the top 4, but not entering a title race.
As for betting... I love long term bets, but right now I rather spend the little fg I have in short term bets. I don't like making small 50 fg bets or so, and I don't feel like havng to hold a big chunk of the fg I have until the end of season. I might consider if I start making profit over the next few weeks.
