That's the spurs we've been wanting to see for some time now. Lamela and Eriksens link up was phenomenal. Rose and Dier both created good opportunities. All around a pleasant match to watch.

I'm pretty sure they'll make it. Last year it was a transition year with all those signings, I believe they'll impress this year.

wow that is a bold call. I look at their squad and think it looks bad. Ad***or is the only accomplished striker, fullbacks are terrible and they don't have a solid centre back pairing

Well, no one really expectes Liverpool to achieve what they achieved last season

Spurs' players don't look that great, but I think they'll step up

Poche is good at helping players develop

I don't see how Liverpool are relevant in this, but I think they could push for 3rd which isn't a big difference from 2nd.

Pochettino isn't any more an accomplished coach than Van Gaal, Wenger or Rodgers, so comparing the squads I can only see Tottenham being above Man United

You're not getting the point, I just put Liverpool as an example of a team that performed much better than what people were expecting.

And I'm not saying Pochettino is an accomplished coach, I'm saying he's good at helping players develop, which is what Spurs need. They have a bunch of interesting players that could take the team to a new level if they step up.

It's different when you have a world class striker, to when you have 2-3 creative players that haven't hit their peak yet. I'll happily do a bet on Spurs finishing outside the top 4, you name the odds
