I think the 1 new year deal for Franck and Arjen is really good, because they both have agreed that they will be most likely sitting at the bench, there are other starters. I think that was a requirement, else they wouldnt get a new contract.

There were several rumours about Rafinha, some were talking that he got a 2 year contract offered and he refused it because he want to go to Brazil.
But now Rafa said that he wants to stay, if the new coach wants him.

In the past we couldnt deal with his ego because he was way younger and his performances were awesome, our game was fully based on the wings and we had no other option.
He is no longer in the position to "blackmail" us with his ego.
