Plz buy Pogba

Please don't-

Not even for €60 million.

Kroos >
Modric >

We won the champions league with Kroos - Casemiro - Modric. No need for Pogba.

If anything we could use a better defensive midfielder. Swapping Pogba with Casemiro would prove to be ridiculous and Pogba is shit defensively and would be just as bad as playing James - Kroos - Modric...

We don't have the urge to buy Pogba, that I agree with, but we also have to consider that we won't be able to sign during the next two transfer windows if the FIFA bann isn't lifted (it almost certainly won't be). The way things are, signing someone for almost any position would make some sense.

And Pogba isn't shit defensively... he has averaged 7 balls recovered per game last season, and that definitely isn't bad considering his role in the team. I do agree that he's a waste as a DM though.

But I wouldn't really be interested in replacing Casemiro... he has been one of our best players this season. Pretty much the reason why we went from being garbage to suddenly winning the CL and almost winning a lost Liga title. He brought so much balance to the team... our best player in the CL final for sure.

Adding another DM for depth wouldn't hurt though... although I don't dislike the idea of simply having Pepe play as DM when necessary.

if real loses benzema/ronaldo/bale any of them they are not going anywhere next season

i dont see a spot for morata

midfielders they have plenty to much actually

my formation with real is simple

lw ronaldo st benzema rw bale
cam rodriguez

cm modric cm kroos

lb marcelo cb pepe cb ramos rb carvajal

now you could make a change with benzema cam morata striker or just remove cam and put 2 strikers

the squad is fine they need no one right now

A midfield of James-Modric-Kroos is a waste of time with only one ball on the field.

There's a reason James was dropped to the bench for Casemiro and Real didn't look back.

Pogba would either displace Kroos or Casemiro and isn't a fit, you really can't improve on Modric (best midfielder in the world) and Kroos is fantastic.

James is wasted at Real Madrid, he's a #10 in a #10-less formation

Very true. I'd like to see us play 4-4-2 more often so we could have James or Isco shine as 10's, but there's rarely a game when you have solid reasons to bench a BBC member (would have to be Bale in any case, since Cristiano has to play always and Karim is needed as 9)

Could this work:

Ronaldo-Benzema/Bale
James
Kroos-Casemiro-Modric
Marcelo-Ramos-Pepe-Carvajal
Keylor

4-3-1-2

Seeing Ronaldo play in a 4-4-2 with Portugal in the Euro alongside Nani was interesting. I think he could easily replicate that with Real Madrid partnering either Benzema or Bale.

Then you have James in the #10 spot

It kind of reminds me of AC Milan's midfield 4 of:

Kaka
Pirlo-Gattuso-Seedorf

In Ancelotti's Milan

I don't think it was "interesting" tbh, if you're saying it in a positive way. Portugal was pretty much awful for the most part and they were lucky to face weak rivals on their way to the final. And in the final they only dominated and scored with a striker on the field...

So, Karim has to play. Always. Cristiano has been invisible in almost every Madrid game without him (or another striker, if we date back to the days when Pipita played for us).

I really think that Bale is the only benchable one... and yet he performs so well that there's is no way he can be benched. Well, this last season at least, he was absolutely amazing ever since he recovered from his injury.

I guess by interesting I mean to see them start with an attack of Ronaldo-Nani. A striker less formation and as you said, a point I agree with, is that Ronaldo must play with a striker.

In any case I believe a front 3 of Ronaldo-Benzema-Bale is stronger than a front 3 of Ronaldo- one of Benzema/Bale and James behind. That front 3 is only second to Barcelona.

Why is Bale so under appreciated zark? Do his performances leave that much to be desired? I think he's an absolutely amazing talent. And for me, in the CL final he looked like the only good attacker. Ronaldo played hurt and was very poor (worst I've seen of him), and that was one of the worst games I've ever seen from Benzema I've ever seen in my life. Morata will bench the shit out of him if he had plays like that this season.

But Benzema had a summer off (lol), so he should be good this season.

First priority is you need a striker, forget signing more midfielders
