Supporting ipswitch for a goal yet? Lol

When your boys get promoted, might have to still let you post here, as you will still be a small club :P

Call it banter ;) but this is for any team that doesn't warrant it's own thread haha! Still prefer to call you a small club :P

Tbh it's just how bad Anderlecht is this season, how this coach Van Den Brom is still here amazes me, he will definatly be gone next season tho

I should email them my FM save file, maybe they'll appoint me for next season B)

How have the team's youths been doing? Tielemans, Praet, Bruno, Mitrovic, etc?

Hehe B)

Well in the beginning of the season the coach said it will be a season for the youngsters, but he keeps changing his squad so that the youngsters cant get on form.

Tielemans: Started the season off amazingly, being the best player in the competition beside Santini and Vanaken, but he then died down and the coach hardly starts him anymore
Praet: He looked like he was completely off the radar halfway trough the season, starting to play again a bit more now. (he's actually an OHL fan, and I see him at the stadium whenever he doesn't play B) )
Bruno: He played pretty much all the games, has his bad games but also has his great games, looks like the one who gets the most playing time
Mitrovic: had a tough start, seems a bit sluggish every now and then, but he does score the important goals
Najar: was completely of the radar the past season, but is without a doubt the best player Anderlecht have atm, can play any position on the field (except GK ofc) and you will most likely see him in the WC with Honduras
Mbemba: again one of the bright sides to the season, really solid although his last few games he messes up a bit.
Milivojevic: payed 3m for him or so, and has had a shocking season, hasn't played for like 8 games in a row now

Then there is Vandenborre who was down the radar for a few seasons (went to a few english clubs, then Genk then anderlecht) and he is with Najar the two best players on the pitch (both play RB as main position)

So overall they have been doing well.

I see, thanks... hopefully next year Anderlecht appoints someone who can make them reach their higherst potential.

I can see only one big candidate, rumours are spreading too.. It's Peter Maes who should replace him.

Maes has been the coach of Lokeren for 4 seasons now, and everyone thinks he's ready for the next level, he's done everything possible with Lokeren, won the cup, are in the finals again this season and always played play off 1, even the lokeren players are saying he should go to Anderlecht :P

Mallorca will be playing away against Zaragoza tomorrow.

Half a season later, they too are outside promotion/playoff positions... they are however 2 points ahead of us, and they seem to be improving.

Not that our new manager has finally had a full week to prepare the match, I hope we can also show signs of improvement. Winning there will be difficult though, bringing points back from Zaragoza's stadium has always been hard for my boys.

Zaragoza 1 - 1 Mallorca

Both teams played pretty bad... the draw is a fair result. Bringing one point back from Zaragoza can't be considered bad, but given our current situation we need to begin a winning streak now that our next game is in our stadium.

1:1 against mainz
first half was really terrible.. mainz shoulda scored atleast 2 goals but our goalkeeper kept us alive
second half we started really well and scored a goal after a mistake
we gifted them a peno 15 minutes later
im pretty happy about that lucky 1 point

that assist by choupo-moting... so stupid, glad allagui showed that strikers don't belong near their own box on either side...

If these owners with ridiculously long names do what they say they want to do we might not be a "small" club much longer. The talk is if we go up they will increase our stadium capacity from around 33k to 42k+, which is big enough to compete since we should fill it week in week out and £120mill for going up spent on a half decent side...

Who knows ^^

I've supported Leicester all my life through the highs and league one lows. If we stay in the prem 1 season and go back down I'll still be a Leicester fan :D
