The only thing it proves is you haven't understood Pep's idea of positional play, or in your case "possession-oriented play"... as long as a player being "marked out of the game" by another one still moves according to the positions of his teammates, opponents and the ball, it won't matter. Given that Özil often makes the best possible decisions when moving off the ball to draw attention of defenders and create spaces for his teammate or the ball, Özil could still be crucial in positional play style, even without touching a single ball for 90 minutes.

It doesnt matter in a team that has 4 other guys that can fit the playmaking role.
Messi is a playmaker in a striker's shoes.
Andres, Busquets and Xavi all can fit the role.

When you heavily rely on through balls from 1 guy and he's taken out by marking you get yourself embarassed in style, regardless if the other 10 players on pitch run 5000 kms around.

The more you speak the more deluded i think you actually are. See the bolded. Thats pure nonsense.

This is the Watford game. Are you impressed ?

Barcelona's whole sextuple-winning system of positional play and therefore Pep's entire idea of football is based on that bolded "pure nonsense", so you better stop typing before you embarass yourself even more by showing a lack of even basic tactical understanding.

I never said he's perfect at Arsenal, did I? You're mixing things up and getting confused. I said he would be perfect for Pep's system - whether it would be Barca or Munich - because he has so much more to offer than the (still perfect) through balls you're reducing him to. Those through balls would just be a bonus on top of his ball control, vision and movement off the ball, which are all crucial skills for any player coached by Pep.

Why the fuck do you even associate ozil's play with pep ?
The funny part is you trying to explain something you can't understand

You said ozil thrives in tight spaces. There's your proof, that video 1:40, see how well he handles it.
That game most of his touches are in their own half. How many chances has he created ?

Where did that happen? Never said that. You just assumed once again - and once again wrongfully so - that Barcelona's style of play under Pep is associated to tight spaces.

The funny part is you actually behaving like you DO understand, when in fact you have no clue about positional play, shown by your various remarks aimed at possession and the need of a playmaker.

Let me break it down... Pep's style needs certain key skills in almost all of the possible positions on the pitch:

1. Ball control / First touch
2. Awareness of space
3. Dribbling skills
4. Passing skills
5. Vision
6. Movement OFF the ball

Özil is among the best players in the world in all except for dribbling 1vs1. That naturally leads to the assumption that Özil would fit very well in Pep's system.

From an Arsenal fan, going to translate:

Enige wat heb gemerkt is dat we als beesten door hekken moesten en over bruggetjes. Na de game werden we tegen gehouden door stewards en riot politie. Ik stond bijna vooraan en we werden steeds dichter naar die gasten geduwd van achteruit om iedereen uit de regen wilde en naar binnen. Echter we mochten niet verder naar beneden lopen dus begonnen ze ons maar te slaan.
Daarna moesten we nog 20min tot een metro lopen die dan overvol was.

The only thing that I have noticed was us being forced to climb over fences and bridges. After the game we were stopped by the stewards and the riot police. I stood infront and we kept getting pushed more and more to these guys because everyone was trying to avoid the rain and go in. We weren't allowed to go in so they started to hit us.
After that we had to run 20 minutes to the metro which was flooded
