I never said he's perfect at Arsenal, did I? You're mixing things up and getting confused. I said he would be perfect for Pep's system - whether it would be Barca or Munich - because he has so much more to offer than the (still perfect) through balls you're reducing him to. Those through balls would just be a bonus on top of his ball control, vision and movement off the ball, which are all crucial skills for any player coached by Pep.

You said ozil thrives in tight spaces. There's your proof, that video 1:40, see how well he handles it.
That game most of his touches are in their own half. How many chances has he created ?

Where did that happen? Never said that. You just assumed once again - and once again wrongfully so - that Barcelona's style of play under Pep is associated to tight spaces.



The funny part is you actually behaving like you DO understand, when in fact you have no clue about positional play, shown by your various remarks aimed at possession and the need of a playmaker.

Let me break it down... Pep's style needs certain key skills in almost all of the possible positions on the pitch:

1. Ball control / First touch
2. Awareness of space
3. Dribbling skills
4. Passing skills
5. Vision
6. Movement OFF the ball

Özil is among the best players in the world in all except for dribbling 1vs1. That naturally leads to the assumption that Özil would fit very well in Pep's system.

The only thing that I have noticed was us being forced to climb over fences and bridges. After the game we were stopped by the stewards and the riot police.
