uli probably has the same mindset as last time:
"if someone is willing to do super crazy things, we might pickup the phone and hear them out"

just this time, those "super crazy things" probably wouldn't be 70+m but more likely 200+

i get your point, its not like we need the money though and more importantly on this crazy market most of the money we make will be gone
you know how it is when half the world knows you made 200 million

and who would even be on the market? the only guy i see as a proper replacement is kane, but i am sure he wont be leaving england

of course

i'd actually rate our managment for sneaky enough to proably even pull off the signing of an replacement before actually announcing that we just made 200m from selling lewy
well... let's see what summer brings

Of course dortmund lost lewy
but lewy would've been gone even if bayern would not have made a move for him

so dortmund not beeing able to extend his contract is the problem - not bayern signing a free agent that had various other offers from probably any big league in europe

same goes for goretzka

i wonder if this could work, with these rumours out a club will immediately be suspicious when we contact them for a top striker

Same here, our management is perfect, they sign players and nobody notice it

yep
this frame of thinking though requires logic - something fender (aka heinrich von goebbels, descendant of joseph) lacks

and why do you think dortmund wasn't able to extend his contract? because he hated the city and the fans? no, because bayern offered him a contract that dortmund couldn't afford - same with goretzka for example. the whole transfer fee "argument" is something intellectually challenged bandwagoners came up with in order to pretend it has nothing to do with money and is just "smart management" or something along those lines...

and again, to go back to your initial sentiment which i replied to, about the wish for some domestic competition: that ain't happening as long as every single german club that is not bayern constantly loses their best players, simple as that. the league is bayern's to lose for the next decade at least. recent developments have only increased the gap...

i mean just look at what kind of quality dortmund had to sell and replace in recent years: aubameyang, dembélé, hummels, gündogan, lewandowski, mkhitaryan, götze, kagawa... and feel free to list the players that bayern had to let go in the same time to clubs offering them better contracts. that this is even an argument with you guys is beyond ridiculous...

oh look, its the dont share my opinion and i will insult your intelligence argument again

of course its too much for a wannabe socialist to look for a solution that will make the rest of the league better instead of complaining about the top team
