as much as i'd like having werner in our team, I dont want leipzig to sell him
I want werner to stay in leipzig and be their superstar to build a team around
I want Leipzip to become an actual national threat to bayern in terms of titles - because I don't see dortmund, schalke or leverkusen getting anywhere near that point soon

because i'm fairly certain if the leipzig managements accepts a deal for werner it will release a landslide
in that exact moment where they accept a deal for werner, agents of forsberg, bruma and others will be knocking their door yelling "hey you always refused to transfer our guys - now's our turn!"

sadly, thats exactly whats happening in dortmund for the last 3-5 years

and with that, leipzig would easily drop into mediocrity if not relegation area the following season.

that's cute. you know why clubs like dortmund, schalke, leverkusen, and hoffenheim can't get "anywhere near that point", right? because as soon as they play a good season anywhere close to threatening bayern for a while they lose their best players (the list is sheer endless, here are just a couple they lost to the very club you claim you want some domestic competition for: goretzka, lewandowski, hummels, süle...)
leipzig will (and already has) suffer the same fate. they lost their best player of last season (keita) to liverpool, they already lost kimmich to bayern before that, and their other stars will inevitably follow, even if they can hold on to one or two guys...

ok look, its fenders "lose all their best players" story again

goretzka free agent
lewa free agent
kimmich was "lost" as a raw talent when leipzig were on 2nd level ffs

how about a short list of your secondary club
philipp, toprak, dahoud, toljan, schürrle, castro, ginter, ramos, sokratis, reus....
none of them a free agent, all signed from the competition or before they could "become dangerous"

oh god, this is so stupid

p.s: i dont expect a reply

IF he wants to go and IF we see that he is not 100% focussed in Munich and IF he acts like a normal human and ask politely if he can go, then we should let him go.

Otherwise if he decides to go Dembele like then we should keep him and let him rot on the bench.

As you see there are too many IFS, it will be like with Ribery, at the end we wont let him go, he wont start acting like Dembele and he will end his carrier in Munich

Case solved:
According to Merkur, Real is not interested in Lewandowski, there was no contact to Lewandowski. Perez called Kalle and explained it to him, he is interested to keep up the good relations between both clubs, thats why he called Kalle

kinda sad that a guy from real had to make a statement, our bosses could have ended the case immediately

TIL if you lose your player to a club that pays them twice or more than what you can offer them but there was no transfer fee involved, he is still playing for you and you didn't actually lose him.
also, it apparently is just a myth that every single german club except bayern constantly loses their best players, that's not what's happening, i guess it's just that they don't want it as much...

glad we have some real knowledgable "fans" in this forum to set the record straight...

nothing but a complete dodge by heinrich, the master of dodging

its not like i expected anything from a guy who cant comprehend the concept of professional freedom, when a player simply does not want to play for a club anymore and his contract runs out
you cant lose something that is not yours

i am still waiting for the explanation how dortmund and bayern are any different, not to mention how bayern going after free agents with multiple offers from the entire continent is "buying the competition"

oh boy

'b-b-but whatabout dortmund? u dodge' said the very intelligent person completely dodging the point about all the clubs that were at one point even close to bayern losing THEIR best players all the time, while pretending that transfer fees were even remotely relevant to that discussion (and ofc completely ignoring wages, acting like that's not the main reason players "simply don't want to play for a club anymore"). absolutely hilarious...

almost as funny as plastic fans of big and (somewhat) successful clubs, who never even supported "their" team in the stadium, think they have a point shitting on real fans of smaller, less successful clubs that aren't even their rivals. typical bandwagoner mentality really...

uli probably has the same mindset as last time:
"if someone is willing to do super crazy things, we might pickup the phone and hear them out"

just this time, those "super crazy things" probably wouldn't be 70+m but more likely 200+
