I'd prefer Kane too, but tbh I'd still take Lewa in a heartbeat. Even if he had a wooden leg he'd still be better than Karim.

But at what cost? Lewa would be 100m+and he would be good for what? 2-3 years?

I don't know. :/

Obviously we would need to consider the price, but two things are certain: one is that we need a top striker, and the other is that there aren't that many available (especially ones that are a few years younger than Lewa).

I can totally understand your point of view, for us it would be a good deal if we could get a decent striker. But for you guys it wouldnt be that good.
But iam sure that Perez just wants to present the next star, doesnt matter how much it will cost and how old he is...

According to Mundo Deportivo, Lewandowski and Real agreed on a deal, 2 years contract plus one year optional.

To bad that this deal is not valid without Bayern...
On other side, let this guy go, take 100mil+ and buy Werner

as much as i'd like having werner in our team, I dont want leipzig to sell him
I want werner to stay in leipzig and be their superstar to build a team around
I want Leipzip to become an actual national threat to bayern in terms of titles - because I don't see dortmund, schalke or leverkusen getting anywhere near that point soon

because i'm fairly certain if the leipzig managements accepts a deal for werner it will release a landslide
in that exact moment where they accept a deal for werner, agents of forsberg, bruma and others will be knocking their door yelling "hey you always refused to transfer our guys - now's our turn!"

sadly, thats exactly whats happening in dortmund for the last 3-5 years

and with that, leipzig would easily drop into mediocrity if not relegation area the following season.

Fully agree to that, i want some competition too, it maybe sounds arrogant but its not my intention to sound like that:
In cases like this we need to look only at ourself, if Werner increases our quality then we should get him, doesnt matter what happen to the other clubs.

Just keep in mind what Dortmund, Leipzig, Schalke etc would do IF THEY would have the power to buy our players. they would buy everyone.
Timo Werner is the best option for a striker, if you consider his age/nationality and price, thats why we should get him ASAP and get rid of Lewa

IF he wants to go and IF we see that he is not 100% focussed in Munich and IF he acts like a normal human and ask politely if he can go, then we should let him go.

Otherwise if he decides to go Dembele like then we should keep him and let him rot on the bench.

As you see there are too many IFS, it will be like with Ribery, at the end we wont let him go, he wont start acting like Dembele and he will end his carrier in Munich

Case solved:
According to Merkur, Real is not interested in Lewandowski, there was no contact to Lewandowski. Perez called Kalle and explained it to him, he is interested to keep up the good relations between both clubs, thats why he called Kalle
