well, game over. grats to real madrid - overall i think it's fair to say they were the better team and deserved to proceed imo.

how they scored today, however, was somewhat lucky.
for that first goal, both dante (no surprise here) and naldo (somewhat disappointingly) failed to make a rather easy clearance - or at the very least get a foot on the ball to prevent cronaldo from having an easy tap in.
that fk for the 3rd goal was a wrong decision in the first place and extremely unlucky (naldo again) to open up that small gap in the wall to give cronaldo his 3rd goal on what otherwise would have been another failed fk attempt.

then again, who knows if that ball benaglio stopped on the line didn't fully cross it before? that could have been another goal for madrid, cl needs goal-line technology too imo (planned for next season iirc)...

yeah and hating Bale after he won them the champions league and copa del rey with his goals
