Tbh when looking at Arsenal's transfer history compared to other teams in BPL, you could get the impression that they don't take winning the Pl too seriously.

They have had lots of great talents and Wenger like no other is known for developing them very well. But while other teams seem to spend a fortune on individual players that have been well-known in the football world, Arsenal kind of relies on their own talent (which is great) mixed with only semi-decent players they bring in for too much money.

Elneny, Paulista, Debuchy, Podolski, Giroud, Monreal, Arteta, Gervinho, Santos, Park to name the last larger transfers all might be semi-decent or better. But all they should be in a team that wants to regularly compete for PL/CL, is backups for the first squad.
If you rely on domestic (and thus cheap) talent like Arsenal/Wenger do, why not spend the combined transfer value of all those semi-decent players on only 2 or 3 (like City did with Silva, Yaya & Agüero for example) big names who can make a real impact? Money obviously isn't a problem for Arsenal (of PL teams in general).

Sanchez, Özil, Cazorla, Cech,..

And also, Monreal has been one of the best leftbacks in the league.

Because Arsenal football club is a cash cow and relies on deluded fans like Mr Mill to keep buying their £90 match tickets and merchandise.

well yeah, what i meant is that the national cup is always the easiest, shortest, quickest (take your pick) to win a title, thats all
some luck in the draws and on certain days alone can bring you a long way towards a cup title

if you are satisfied with some action in the cups while being not even close to win the league or make a serious impact in the champions league, then i didnt say a thing
a club like arsenal should aim higher though

all nice players, but nobody for the positions where you need reinforcements most....someone who can turn around a game in midfield for example or a defender who can win a defensive battle by himself on his best day

Also false, we have had runs where we were very close to winning it.

Yes, those palyers are a good start and mostly shine whenever Arsenal has a good run.
But considering how injury prone all of their central midfielders are (just as an example) they could have easily spent another 40+ million to get an experienced player for that position. You can't rely on Ramsey or Wilshere playing even 15 games a season. And while Coquelin, Flamini, Rosicky, or even Arteta / Cazorla might all be at least average when playing that position, they're still far away from winning championships.

Ramsey has played 32 games this season.
Coquelin statistics have been one of the best so far at DM
Cazorla is a starter for us and plays well every single game.

i would agree if you would end a season as 2nd with only 1-2 points behind the champions
finishing 3rd or 4th is not close
