u really don't think they will challenge for the ucl in 2 years, when u have no clue what their team will look like.
This just proves u are a dumb ass
No.
It only shows your very narrow and basically still clueless view on football.
They won't play UCL next year and probably have some changes regarding the squad and possibly even the coach. Getting those changes in effect and getting the players used to a new formation, tactical system etc. won't just miraculously happen during pre-season (which will be short due to European Championship anyway).
It's more realistic to assume they will need that season to grow as a team and then have a fresh start in UCL in 2 years, where they still won't be a favorite, regardless of what their team looks like by then.
You always follow the same pathetic "logic" of yours:
1. You see a player underperforming (although it's obviously not like you could actually evaluate players)
2. Your mind goes --> "Sell him!" / "Get a new player who I think is better" (again: not like you'd have any clue on how to judge)
3. Next step --> "new/better player in the same position means better team and better results"
You ignore the fact that players need to get used to their coach's intentions on the pitch, to one another's playstyles, to their positional play, possibly even to their characters. You just assume it works. And if it doesn't, it basically MUST be the manager's fault.
