3 (Espanyol, Granada and Málaga). Basicly only managed to win against two teams in shit form and one where Kameni gave Valencia a free win with the most ridiculous own goal of the season.

14 out of 48 points

Let's see how Gary's carreer develops. I'm sure he'd do better in England in a less complicated club, but he still has a lot to learn/improve; the are no excuses for his awful Valencia record.

He really should have taken a championship/league one job.

No idea why he chose such a difficult start to his management career.

Gary is a tactical genius, the players betrayed him imo.

His results were terrible since Day 1 (it took him like 9 or 10 games to achieve his first Liga win). I agree that the players haven't worked their asses out as they should, but when you look at Gary's record since he took over, you realize that he wasn't really betrayed, but rather never managed to motivate them, explain his tactics properly, adapt to them, give them discipline, etc.

Not defending their attitude, which wasn't the best at all, but Gary had 4 months to work on that and he did nothing. In press conferences he even defended them doing jack shit (which, according to him was playing their hearts out), plenty of times.

The feeling I got was that he tried to force some tactics or ideas into the players, which they didn't understand or couldn't adapt to. They performed poorly, and then they simply stopped caring and performed even worse.

ManU in La Liga would be in the 2nd tier.
