I'm comparing the feeling... really I don't think you'd ever understand if you didn't live here, I know it doesn't make any sense, but it just is that way; when you've been constantly badgered about being "the team that's unable to win a competition Mallorca, Espanyol, Zaragoza or Betis have been winning lately", even though it's the team with most Ligas and CLs, you don't ignore it and it builds up to make you give it a high importance.

And no, I'm not implying RM would have won those matches, its obvious Barça was superior. The main goal of those 4 clasicos for Barça was to win the CL, and for RM to be able to compete with Barcelona and win the Copa. They both got what they wanted.

if you think madrid got what they wanted out of those clasicos then you're deluded mate

If they hadn't, they would have fired the manager like always

do you honestly think RM thought they were going to win those 4 matches, that's deluded!

Mourinho is a special case, deserves that kind of respect but I would not be surprised to be honest
I think Real may destroy Barcelona this season, Barca is not playing like Barca lately, players look out of it- Messi especially (in November)

perez hasnt got the balls to sack mourinho. besides, the copa del rey gave mourinho that last line to keep his work, but saying that all they wanted was the copa del rey is not true and a delusion.

Barça has never managed to stay strong for more than 3 seasons on a row, that's this generation's challenge, to keep the cycle going for longer. I honestly don't know if they'll accomplish this, the fact they've never had a team so strong plays in their favour; the fact RM hasn't been this strong ina ages, doesn't.So far whenever someone's doubted about Guardiola's boys, they've answered with a slam; now things do look diferent, the clásico will be a good (but not decisive) way to measure the balance between both sides. Regardess of what Barça does, I think RM will win either CL, Liga or both; they're famous for winning titles even when they play like crap, whenever they feel strong they always win atleast the league or the CL. It really looks like it could be their year, but we're not even half way through the season yet!

what else could they want? Of course they could have won the CL too, but that wasn't a realistic goal.

well

i should say we got at least copa del rey

barca was on top form, and winning a trophy against them was a big pleasure

was a huge step for us

with the current form for both teams,

i say we take the league this year and on
