Del Bosque and Capello did even better than Ancelotti. Del Boque won a major title in each of his 4 seasons at the club, and Capello managed to win 1 Liga in 1 season dispite coming in a difficult period after 3 seasons without any silverware.

Carlo shouldn't have been sacked. He's not the most amazing manager in the world and he made critical mistakes that made us lose titles last season, but he was well adapted to the team, and he brought the double to to the club for the first time in 25 years in the previous season. It was yet another stupid decision from our trigger happy president...

Because he's a dictator. He changed the rules to run for presidency to require the candidate to be both very rich and to have held a club membership card for over 20 years, which makes it almost impossible for someone besides him to run for the club. Elections are as democratic as in North Korea, with only one possible candidate.

Barça had just won the treble when he took over. The first thing he did was sign CR7, Kaká, Xabi Alonso and Benzema... huge signings like the ones the previous president had promised but never brought. Florentino told the masses "see? we can't let people that haven't been succesful in the business world run our club... we need to change the rules to protect it from guys like Calderón (the previous president)". And he got the assembly to accept the change in rules in that moment of depression and confusion. It's basicly the same tactics guys like Hitler used to absorb all the power.

what the motherfuck ^^
i did think sometimes that he behaves like a king, but i had no idea what he actually did there
thats truly hitler style in club football

but then again, if people like you gather and want him gone he will have to go imo

@zarkadon

I was talking about la decima.

Many coaches failed on reaching it, except Carlo.

Winning the League or the cup cant be a goal for clubs like Real, Barca or Bayern.

Championsleague is the goal

Winning the league is more than fine imo. I'd understand it if it wasn't so for Bayern, since they have barely any competition for the Bundesliga title, but here it's seen as a huge success (although not as hge as the CL ofc). Plus it also means you finished above your eternal rival, so you can laugh at them all summer (unless they win the CL :P ).

1 league and 1 champions league as footballer in Real Madrid, in 5 years.

As coach, he relegated the second team to the third tier league in his unique year.

Now he is just a legend, soon he will be like Mijatovic, another normal player that gave a Champions League, like Belletti, David Villa or Anelka.

I love it. B)

Not true. He took over the team after they relegated. In his first year (last year) he failed to promote them back to Segunda, and this year they are currently first in the third level (although struggling a bit). Overall a pretty mediocre run, but like I said it's different managing the b-team, and it can get specially complicated if you have unadapted players forced into your starting XI like Odegaard, and lose players to either the senior squad or to other clubs on mid season loans.

Guardiola did it possible with Barça B, in exactly the same position as Zidane was until today.

If Zidane wants to be succesful he needs to be respected, that's all. If he says that they have to run, they run, and if Bale has play on the left, he plays on the left.

It didn't happen even with Carletto, but they were lucky.

Managing Barça's b-squad is completely different to managing Castilla. They have completely different systems and you know it. In Madrid the players constantly come and go on loans and it's hard to build a proper team. He took over a completely new team since the previous squad had been released almost on its entirety after being relegated and had to work from scracth while dealing with losing players in january and having to make room for Odegaard. On paper the team was good enough to promote, but it's not a huge failure that he didn't manage to do so given the circumstances.

And Guardiola promoted from the 4th level to the 3rd level btw, which is obviously a lot easier.
