Another year another flurry of Ronaldo coming home media nonsense -_- now the former Madrid prez is even chiming in.

I don't see it happening until after Euro 16 at the earliest tbh, he's still the main man in Madrid.

I'd take him back in a heartbeat though :)

Ronaldo return ‘in place’

Everything is in place for Cristiano Ronaldo to make a dream return to Manchester United, according to Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert Guillem Balague

Good for him, it will be a step up from his current club by that time.

Can't argue with that, Madrid are a spent force for me.

Considering this guy said that Di Maria and Falcao will come, this is legit.

If he were to come, what kind of formation would united play? 4-3-3 with Rooney as a sort of false 9?

Di Maria would certainly move centrally...they may shift to a 4-3-3 similar to how Madrid played last season
There would be an odd man out, probably RvP at that point if its next year. Hard to see Rooney, Ronaldo, RvP, Falcao (if he stays), Di Maria, Mata all fitting into one lineup lol

De Gea
Rafael Jones Rojo Shaw
Blind
Herrera Rooney
Di Maria Falcao Ronaldo

But to have such difficult decisions is a good thing.

Emotions aside, i wouldnt get him back, unless he agrees on a big pay cut.
