Doubt he`ll be played once carrick returns to full fitness though. Maybe central def, midfield don`t think so.

He holds a midfield way better than blind imho.

Age is not everything. Look at xabi, look at scholes & giggs - united related.
That man in front of defence is crucial to any team. Blind was decent, didn`t completely boss midfield tho.

Still rate carrick over him.

Arguably he could have been red carded today also.

Depends how Carrick will respond after the injury.

its not like carrick is bad or anything
and he will have his playtime, but i would go for a younger player as a starter for the future

United team is already packed with youngsters, experience is a very important factor aswell.

Remember the last time united won the title, they had scholes and giggs playing a large amount.

In the last game where they lost to city aswell.

Imho carrick form will play a pivotal role in how united finish the season.

Can`t see blind taking on yet.
