I think you're both wrong, one of you is overrating him, and the other is underrating. He's perfectly okay.

I know he has his flaws, he has alot of them. But to say he isn't vital to us is stupid. We haven't bought a top notch striker and probs wont for a long time, so we stick with Giroud and give him the support

You're as biased as any dutch person could be, there is no point discussing it with someone like you tbh. I gave the reasons he's vital for us but you refuse to understand it

wow, just... wow! there is someone who is clearly biased here but it isn't him...
i see you're preparing the milly way out: "i just call you biased and not worthy of talking to anymore and pretend to ignore you from now on because you have a different opinion"...

exactly this he's average.
Throw a world class striker or even just an above average striker ahead of Ozil/Sanchez etc and we will see just how average Giroud really is. Right now he might seem like he does really well for Arsenal but who are we comparing him to Welbeck and Sanogo?

There is NO guarantee a top striker will do that in our club, none whatsoever.

Nah, you should pressure the club to go out and buy a top notch striker which they should do, sitting on all that money from those £2000 season tickets. In the meantime support Giroud as he is a good striker that is a team player but is not world class

What has this to do with me being Dutch? You stated why he is vital but you've clearly not looked at the stats yourself.

2012/2013 season 34 apps - 11 goals - assists 3 Oh well it's his first season and all.
2013/2014 season 36 apps - 16 goals - assists 8 Fucking shit really?
2014/2015 season 27 apps - 14 goals - assits 3 misses a lot of games, probably injured can't remember
2015/2016 season what is it now 19 apps and 10 goals? assists 1 might get a decent total, who can tell.

How is he vital to the team? How is he underrated?

16 goals and 8 assists in the bpl = fucking shit?

Shows how you're biased.

This is the exact same thing as the Bakkali situation where you said he's shit and wont find another club, meanwhile at the age of 19 he's performig excellent at Valencia.

That was me being biased and an upright loudmouth just spewing my anger yes. OFC he was going to find another club, he is very talented, he kept his nose clean and waited out his contract. Kudo's for him. But that is not what we are talking about here. You were stating that he was vital to the team and gave assists blablabla when actually he isnt that vital to Arsenal.

Now there isn't a guarantee taht a proven striker would do better alltough one may argue that he couldn't really do worse with this midfield behind him now could he.

He can always do worse, stupid to think he won't. We've seen PLENTY of "world class" strikers going into the bpl but failing to score even with a brilliant midfield behind him.

Compare the Giroud at Montpellier with the current Giroud and then tell me he hasn't grown alot.

Not going to debate this pointless topic anymore, you think he's shit, fair enough everyone has their own opinion.

I'm simply a fan sticking behind his players that we have and giving them the support, i'm not one to "pressure" a club into spending loads of money.
