The linesman thing? MARCA and AS are talking about it, but they essentially make sales on rumours, possible scandals, drama, etc.

They barely mentioned it in the news, and most newspapers have other headlines in their sport sections (Cruyff's cancer, EL/CL news, Villar being investigated by FIFA, Rossi making negative remarks about Márquez in Moto GP, etc). None of them are making a big deal out of it or taking it seriously. Since you asked about it, I just checked the most relevant spanish news websites. El Pais (the biggest newspaper in Spain), doesn't even mention it in their sports section.

So, honestly, atm nobody is taking this seriously here. Several people in charge of football here (in the government, La Liga, etc) have been asked about the subject, and they've said they'll look into it but they find it hard to believe.

Both Marca and AS are in Rael Madrid's pocket, have been for ages, they simply bend the truth to put the club in a favorable light.

As for the ref thing, ofc it can't be proven and imo its both possible and probable. Will get burried in notime.
