while bayern do indeed have a certain loss of quality compared to previous years (lahm out, rib & rob old, neuer injured...), that isn't even close to an explanation for the completely lifeless, uninspired, and tactically naive performance like we saw yesterday. sorry, but this is just very obviously more than just a matter of individual player quality...

it's always fascinating that you aren't even embarrassed by your blatantly clueless statements. just to be clear: alaba was awful yesterday, especially leading up to the THIRD goal, where a half-assed body faint / fake shot took him completely out of the game. that first goal, however, was clearly a case of james not backtracking and exposing the wing.
alaba was scrambling to the middle to provide cover for the outplayed players on the right bayern wing to not expose the centre, leaving the less dangerous (in theory ofc, not in this specific case obviously) opposite wing "open" to be defended by the offensive winger.
