He's a solid LB but he's awfully lazy and doesn't have a great attitude. It's a shame because he could be one of the world's best LBs... I can't say Im upset that he's leaving. What upsets me is that Benítez wants to use Arbeloa as Marcelo's backup...

I honestly had a hard time trying to think of the players that Madrid could sign. There just aren't that many available players around in those positions.

If we're lucky and we don't suffer injuries then we will probably win the league... but if we have injuries we will have a shit season and then we will change manager, players and whatever Florentino wants.

I think the title race is going to be tight... idk how Sevilla will cope with their lack of experience in the CL, but if they cope well (like Atlético did 2 seasons ago), then they should be in the title race (imo their squad is pretty much on par with Atlético's). Barça's signings won't kick in until january and they have to fly to Japan for the Club WC halfway through the season, so they won't be as strong either. We have a lack of depth in several key positions...

Personally, I'd put my money on Atlético.

Naingolan wont transfer since there is still trouble with his deal to Roma. He's apperantly still 51% of Cagliari.

Rodrigo played in Valencia last season though, it was a loan with a compulsory transfer after a year (like with Negredo), to avoid breaking FFP.

The problem is though that Valencia will never sell to Real Madrid for anything under the release clause. They've had that policy towards us since we paid Mijatovic's release clause in 96. So Gayà won't come either.

We don't normally sign players from the strongest sides in La Liga though, unlike Barça, we normally sign them from foreign leagues.
