It's a shame his transfer didn't work out well; as I said when he was signed, he wasn't ready... it's a shame we didn't give him another year at la Real because I think it would have helped him a lot and allowed him to step up to the potential he seemed to have. I'm surprised la Real would spend over 15M€ for him though... I think it's a bit of a risky move considering that he has barely played over the last 2 seasons, they should have used that money to buy 2-3 players imo.
So, with Lucas Silva leaving aswell soon, Casemiro is our only truly defensive minded midfielder... I don't like that. I hope we sign someone or at least promote a youth player if there's a good DM in the b team.
Meanwhile, dispite having been linked to Llorente, him moving to Sevilla is pretty much a done deal now... he would have served as a perfect backup striker for us; he's the type of striker we need <_<
Madrid have arguably had one of the worst transfer windows this year.
