Well, all the players, the manager and his staff, and the director of football have traveled with the team to Australia.

The only relevant person that could have been there was the president, but he has a shit relationship with Iker so I'm not sure how that would have worked out either.

But, yes, he deserved a better farewelll... hopefully the tribute they'll give him next month when Porto play the Bernabeu trophy will meet the standards he deserves.

We cannot do anything about iker leaving, Perez wanted him out. Sad really.

So apparently Iker's goodbye was a simple press conference because he didn't want an event that could make him too emotional, but after all the negative feedback the club got from yesterday's event, the player and the club had a talk and decided to have him say goodbye again today with the trophies and the fans (which was supposed to happen next month in the testimonial against Porto).



They really could have handled it better, but whatever...
