It should always be from the first event, so if a foul, then offside called in the game then it would be a penalty, if offside called first, or the move was offside it would then be offside.

If there is a serious foul play even after the offside trap was sprung, a player can still be disciplined, but the offside would stand and be a free kick to defending team

Yeah, 1-3... the defense was an absolute disgrace once again, 2 mistakes and 2 goals conceded (the 3rd one was during injury time while the whole team was upfront tryng to score).

I hadn't posted about it yet because I was waiting to see if there was an update about our manager's situation. Apparently the board has a meeting tomorrow, and it's likely he will be sacked.

The club's problem is the board, not the manager, but it's also true that the manager hasn't done anything to prove he deserves to escape the axe. After 24 games, the team with the most depth in Segunda is 8th and the defense is still ridiculous... we have conceded 39 goals, and only Hércules (with 40) has conceded more. With 18 games to go we can't carry on like this, the first placed is 8 points away and the other spot that gives direct promotion is now 6 away... fighting for playoff positions isn't something we should settle with, at all.

I believe the team needs a change in manager, but the real problem will still be there until the board is refreshed.

at the same time a hertha player (he was offside) interfered with the keeper who was trying to get back into position

They are giving him another chance...

But it's not like they have faith in him, even they admit the team isn't showing signs of improvement... the only reason they are keepng him is because they want to keep the fans distracted and asking for the manager's head, rather than have them again try to force the board out.

Such a disgrace... like I said, this isn't the manager's faut, but keeping him in charge when you don't have faith in him, only to have a small shield against criticism, is disgusting and cowardly. They are giving priority to their own interests instead of the club's interests.

Basicly his execution is just being postponed.

Yeah... they know they are going to sack him sooner or later, they just want to delay it as much as possible. Many sources are claiming that the board is already negotiating with other managers in case they have to sack him next weekend.
