Legacys don't change from 1 year to another. It takes a lifetime and lot's of titles. Which is what got Manchester United this title. In the past 30 years, what team has been more successful than Man U. Real Madrid rivals because it's in 3rd place.

I would argue AC Milan and Real Madrid as the two most successful of the last 30 years tbh. (United 3rd)

As for "biggest" it depends on which measurement (fan base, revenue, net income, assets, etc..) but its almost always United/Real and #1 or #2.

Well you could say the same about Liverpool in the 80's but they arn't the biggest club in the world, not close. Yet they have won the most trophies in English football. The present time is always the most important, as well as a club's financial position, both of which depend upon champions league football.

But Liverpool hasn't been relevant. How much international fame does Man U have? Lots! Their numbers in China alone make them a small force.

BTW I believe they are tied for titles.

Trophies not titles...and Liverpool have a massive fanbase abroad. Man United WILL lose some of their influence, along with physical effects on revenue etc like mg mentioned, if they don't make the CL. Then a downward spiral ensues

No way. Man U have 13 Domestic titles in the last 30 years alone.

People care about titles. Which is why they are #1 worldwide.

Vidal has deadline day op written all over it

Also forget about Hummels. Agger or Nastasic are the best defenders that are attainable at this point

Barca put in a bid for Di Maria. These things happen, even if it gets rejected there is nothing wrong with a troll bid
