Legacys don't change from 1 year to another. It takes a lifetime and lot's of titles. Which is what got Manchester United this title. In the past 30 years, what team has been more successful than Man U. Real Madrid rivals because it's in 3rd place.

Well you could say the same about Liverpool in the 80's but they arn't the biggest club in the world, not close. Yet they have won the most trophies in English football. The present time is always the most important, as well as a club's financial position, both of which depend upon champions league football.
