Saw an article where Karl-Heinz was saying he prefers his stadium over spending that much over a player.

Goes on to say hell never spend such, and that the fans see it as the right way to win

Yeah, right way to win your league every year with no competition isn't to buy the most expensive players on the market, only the ones in Dortmund or Bundesliga.

Zzzzzz

Well ... Neymar Transfer including all expenses was more expensive than Allianz Arena ^_^
And i'm totally fine if Bayern is never gonna spend such amounts for a single Player.

Meanwhile i think (but i'm sure Rummenigge knows and means that aswell) of course we will get forced to increase the amounts spent on a single Player, but i'm sure it will always stay somewhat reasonable compared to the market (2-digit-million)

more hate please, pretty much every bayern fan is with rummenigge on this one, rather have a paid stadium and zero debt instead of joining the madness

I too agree with the amount being ridiculous.

The point wasn't transfer cost vs. financial stability
It was that he believes y'all winning the right way by not spending 100M on a player, but on the best players available on the best teams in Germany.

Also, always wondered why fans cared for debt by a club.
What's the impact?

because some people believe in sustainability perhaps?

by the way, unlike english clubs bayern care about having a strong core with as many german speaking players as possible

I was just curious. I have to deal with Brazilian soccer, so every club is financially fucked year after year.
Doesn't change a thing for me though. Def making the quality of futebol worse and worse.

I think English teams want the same
But the price of transfers are just stupid. Raheem Sterling price when he was sold is a good example. Or even Kyle Walker for 45M? Jesus.

I guess I can't hate on trying to buy German players.

looks like being broke is a normal thing over there

the prices are insane and i have read several articles already who predict that this cant go on in the future, tv revenue for example is going down, many people have had enough
good example is germany right now, its mandatory to have multiple subscriptions for the first time ever this season to watch all games and pretty much everyone i have spoken to is angry as fuck, i am sure sky has never received as many cancellations as they are getting now
i fear the market is overheating

it has always been a dream of uli hoeneß to have some kind of fc bayern germany, with bayern providing the bulk of the german national team
and when quality players from germany like süle and rudy are available we go for them immediately
i am happy with it, its important for bayern to have a strong core that stays with the club long term
