If United get no players that will be relevant in the squad this transfer window, then Woodward needs to go. There are players there to be transferred in, therefore the excuse of no one wants to come shouldnt be used.

that's a pretty obvious conclusion, imo even if he gets di maria and vidal it's gonna be a massive overpay and he should have done it earlier. Therefore I'd sack him anyway

You as always are an idiot. Van Gaal didn't want transfers before he knew what he had. In this case Woodward is not to blame imo.

Woodward is great at negotiating commercial deals - £75m/y with Adidas, £53m/y with Chevrolet, £20m/y with AON and countless of smaller sponsorships, but he really should've employed someone to help him with football transfer dealings.
