Having had a bit of a rest after the window closed I wondered why we didn't sign anyone else.

To the people saying it's the same old arsenal that will have a good period at the end and then start over again, do you really think Wenger doesn't want to improve? He sees the potential in the current squad and unlike other coaches he doesn't view them as papers and numbers. He expects the rest of the team to show why they are in the team and why he didn't spend more this summer.

When everyone is fit we can have a team that will be very hard to break down. There is still the progress that we have made in comparison to previous seasons where we did spend more money. We won the FA cup twice and the community shield twice, that gives the team a certain set of confidence that will help us along the way.


I have faith in AW like no one else, he's still the right man for the job and now he and the team has to justify the fact we didn't spend alot this summer

He could have such such a nice squad, but instead he is stuck with the same old mediocre team.
Idk how arsenal fans aren't mad... All they need is a quality striker, cdm and possibly a cb and they are set.

I would rather have us wait a few more months instead of paying 80m for a 19 y/o.

Getting shit all? we went from a poor side to a good side by good buys and winning 4 trophies along the way.

Cavani was going to be too expensive since PSG doesn't want to let him go
Lacazette was not going to be sold as he extended his contract
Bacca was not open for a move, he loves Milan.
Benteke was Liverpool bound unfortunatly since he needs to play 24/7
