I don't think anyone ever said Dortmund (or any other german club) didn't buy players from within the league; what people accuse Bayern of doing is signign players from their closest competition, weakening them to a point where they can't stand a chance the following season. You don't see Dormund signing players from Leverkusen very often, for example.

they signed quite a few players from their direct competition, best example would be reus after gladbach had their best season in like a decade or so

I didnt expect that from Arturo, i mean a hard duel is okay but not slapping him, this can not be excused imo

it just shows how much they really cared about this mickey mouse cup, being a total scumbag towards your own teammate for a fucking confed cup title... pathetic really...

Winning the confed cup with such a team (B or C team) is not too bad imo, but Vidals behaviour pff...

Well, Reus's return home is the most obvious example, but are there many more? Is it just him and Castro in the last 10 years or so?

idk, I don't have the stats with me, so I might be wrong, but my impression is that Dortmund doesn't sign key players from teams that finished in the top 4 very often.
