Decent game overall. Can't wait to see us play you again in the league.

The first half was alright. Liverpool had periods where they were on top, and same with United. Second half started well for Liverpool, then United took over and we really never got back into it. Coutinho had a field day with your defence though, and Sterling had some decent plays too.

A new CB for you guys would do really well for the team. The way the rest are playing, doesn't seem like you really need a whole lot more if Van Gaal can get the best out of the players.

United need a defender la Hummels like the Middle East needs a resolution, and Pool have to hope Lambert can finish with half the ability of Suarez, since he will have Coutinho/Sterling/Gerrard feeding him and Sturridge to play along up top with.

Should be a great season, can't wait B)

As much as I like Lambert, we need wayyyy better. He'd be good coming into the game later on, but I don't see him as a starter with Sturridge. Rodgers has a lot of headaches to sort out with which formation we will go with this year. Personally, I don't think 1 striker up top is all that effective, and playing with 2, we need a better quality player than Lambert starting.

Brendan said he still wants another striker, and he said that after the Origi purchase.

I've been impressed with Liverpool and Man Utd in pre season overall

We've got a friendly with Dortmund coming up I believe. Perhaps we can convince him then!

Reus isn't a striker, and it would be difficult for Utd or Liverpool to get him
