we've got 2 years to trigger article 50
Ooooh I know this one!
False!
Reality Check verdict: There is no legal limit on how long the UK can wait before it invokes the article. The article states that the exit negotiations would take up to two years but can be extended if all the EU countries agree unanimously that they need more time.We don't have a time limit to invoke it at all.

oh really, who are "they"? when is "then"? i don't think a specific date is required but at the very least a reasonable time frame, sure.
but i have a feeling you either don't know what's going on in your own country or you're hoping that i don't in order to "refute" my argument with another vague statement.
why don't you present some facts for a change? the only thing your PM has said with certainty is that it's NOT gonna be this year.
as a matter of fact, it's speculated (again, no one has actually set a definite time frame!) that it might be delayed until after the general elections in germany next year, that would be not earlier than september or october 2017!
isn't it funny how cameron himself said he would trigger it immediately after the referendum but you act like it was MY silly suggestion and you always knew it would take at the very least half a year to even start the 2 year negotiation period...
They was some government official (obviously not the PM because why would she commit, I forget who doe and it's late for googling), then, is again, early next year, obviously "as speculated", since only the horse's mouth can set a date.
And for all the times the UK has had to wait on EU bureaucrats I think you can give us as long as we want to sort out things. Ta
