There's a different between playing 3 at the back when Moyes is your manager to one of the best managers in the world ie Van Gaal who overachieved with an average Netherlands side in the World Cup.

I'd still prefer 433 though.

Exactly what Pozer said, trying a 3-4-1-2 with David Moyes would have relegated United.

tbh i hope you will kick typical Germans´asses at least once in the near future because of Van Gaal.
He did so much good for Bayern. (Müller, Robben, Schweinisteiger, Badstuber...)
But still when they perform poorly, german experts talk about a step back towards Van Gaal´s era... so clueless,,,
