Yea, you know, it's harder to have a good save rațio when you face 200 shots than when you face 100.

Those stats easily show de gea not being top3 even in premier league, let alone worldwide.

Anyways, he is indeed a good keeper and has room to improve, but id take arsanal target cech over him any given day.

goalie stats are really bad to represent their quality. they neither account for the quality of shots / chances they saved nor for the quality of their defenses. they don't show how good a goalie is at communicating with his back line, his positioning, his command of the penalty area or how error prone he is...

i think even the biggest haters will agree that manuel neuer is currently world's best keeper, right? but when you just look at his stats from last season he's not even top 3 in bundesliga in many of them. to judge how good a goalie is you have to see him play and take many more aspects into consideration than just those stupid clean sheet or save percentage stats...

Agree with you, its really not uncommen that the lower clubs have the keeper with the best statistics. mignolet was regarded as one of the best with his statistics at his time at Sunderland.
