...probably lured Song away.

And could've gone a bit better is pretty soft lol

Was one of the dirtiest transfers ever

Cesc had nothing to do with Song, song wanted to stay at arsenal but the arsenal board wanted to get the money for him

That's bs.

He said arsenal will always be in your heart, and if your hometown club wanted to buy you, why wouldn't you accept it.
I completely understood why Cesc left, and he couldn't imagine him not being played but now it has come so far, so he rather be with the club he loves that is arsenal.

I will take cesc any day of the week.

Ofc he said he loved them. He wanted to part on good terms, cuz before the sale everything didn't go very smoothly. That doesn't change the fact, that his sale unsettled RVP, Nasri etc and that he put his own priorities ahead of the club. He didn't do a Modric, but the transfer itself. was fucked up. I understand u might like him, but u won't be able to change the fact that Cesc's departure had a huge negative impact on a club as he was their core player and there was no way Arsenal wanted to sell him. He didn't give a fuck about it then.

I agree with everything but the last thing, no one could know that this will make a chain reaction.

i think it was pretty clear that selling the player that was carrying the club would cause a slide in form/other players to want to leave

Well idk... At least in UK everyone knew that Cesc's departure meant Arsenal gonna go into rebuilding. He simply was irreplacable. And it's just natural, that other big names will want to leave. Being unable to hold onto their main star is a huge negative impact on the rest.
