I really like Rossi, but he hasn't been performing too well (hopefully he will get his form back after this goal). All those injuries butchered him :/

It's sad to see Rossi in a team like Levante..

I agree... although I guess that after all those injuries he can't really find a better place.

Worst coach currently under contract in any European League... still makes me wonder why a Spanish club would even consider giving such an important job to an Englishman...

It's pretty clear from your generalisations that you've got something against the English. There are plenty of good English coaches.

Never said there weren't any + I don't have anything against any of them really, except I believe they might currently be the least educated (football-wise ofc) of the "greater" football nations, i.e. Italy, Spain, England, Germany, Netherlands... that's why I think that currently none of them are really suited for a club outside GB.

Looks like Valencia fans have lost their patience with Neville, after today's defeat agaist Celta. Until now they were only chanting against the owner, Peter Lim, but this time they chanted against both of them.

Surprising it took them so long given the team's results and the fans infamous history of lack of patience with managers.

The players have betrayed Gary, simple as that.

TBH I think Gary is very capable to be a manager from a tactic point of view, but he simply has no authority whatsoever..

That's the feeling I get. It looks like he has no idea how to handle the situation. The players don't seem to know what they're doing, and they don't seem to care anymore either.

Meanwhile Gary's reactions sway all the time in press conferences. One day they play like shit and with lack of intensity, and he defends their non-existant effort and good display. The next day they play exactly in the same way, and he says it's unacceptable. Then the next day they are shit again, and he goes back to saying they deserved the win and his players worked hard. It's as if he doesn't have a clue about what he's supposed to do or say.

He should get a lower team and get coached into the management. He does feel like a headless chicken at times..

But he definitely has the knowledge to become one, that's something that he has shown alot during his pundit days.

Yeah, but there's so much more to managing than tactical knowledge. He needs to be able to read the game whle under pressure, know how to motivate his players, make his tactics understandable to them, earn their respect, organize training sessions properly, display confidence, adapt to new enviroments, etc.

You can be the Sun Tzu of football tactics but still be a bad manager if you don't get the other stuff right.

tbf he picked a terrible club to start his carreer and it's hard to judge a rookie's potential when in such an unstable situation, but he's showing many weaknesses that he's going to have to get rid off if he wants to have a succesful carreer.
