Hasn't been better than Aduriz for a while now, and he is awful whenever he plays for la Roja...

Del Bosque is really retarded about it. He doesn't want to call him up due to his age (although he denies it, but it's obvious).

Right now it looks like he has no other chance but to call him for the upcoming friendlies, so I'm optimistic about this for once. It would be ridiculous not to give him a chance when he's in such great form while the rest of the strikers are all struggling to score.

The only other spanish striker we have right now that is doing really well is Borja Bastón (23 year old that plays for Eibar on loan from Atlético; looks promising). But it's his first season in Primera and since he doesn't have much experience at a high level imo someone like Aduriz is better to call up for the Euro.

He really does; playing a major international tournament at this point of his carreer would be a wonderful prize for his performances, hard work and patience.

And yeah, right now we just don't have any other strikers in form besides those two. Soldado has been shit ever since he went to Spurs, Morata isn't scoring, Negredo has been awful, and Llorente, Alcácer and Diego Costa have been inconsistent/subpar (plus the latter one sucks whenever he plays for us). Aduriz and Borja Bastón are just miles better than anyone else right now.

I'm still hoping Del Bosque will give Arteta one god damn game for the national team :(

Nope, was meant to happen in the 11-12 or 12-13 season when he was performing for us...

I agree. He should have called him, even if it was just for one game (like he has done with other players that are worse than Arteta), but now it wouldn't make any sense.
