Of course.
Not even sure how German people can even talk about football success...

2002: Lost in WC finals, QQ.
2006: Hosts, lost in WC semi-finals, (Owned if i might add)
2008: Lost in Euro finals.

Consistent maybe.
Successful, not.

Lmao shouldn't have beat the USA in 2002 as well.

2006 ( Del Piero wondergoal)

2008 zzz typical boring german football

2006 shouldn't even have passed Australia. But diving makes things possible. Typical italian.
Since you are talking about hosting tournaments and it seems so important to you, let me know what rank Italy finished the last time they hosted a WC.

You seem to team up pretty fast. Can't argue on your own?

and grmabaofgo let me know why the US peeps are useless in tennis, a sport that is played equally much in the states as in EU

Oh, Tennis.

Rank Name Country Pts
1 Roger Federer SUI 7290
2 Rafael Nadal ESP 4875
3 Andy Roddick USA 2980

Shut up you ignorant German. You are not even worth arguing with after that moronic post you made about phelps.

Oh and I see many many Germans there. Useless as usual.

And that is because KBK see how fucking moronic you look.

Hosts are rarely successful in tournaments, show me where I said a host team was? I just said Germany were hosts in 06..
So a penalty was called in the Australia game, who would of known what way that would of gone in extra time + penalty kicks.
Not sure when italy hosted a world cup, I think* 1990, and they finished third, but it was before my time, so I cannot comment on this.
And no, no need to team up, the Germans out number others in this forum by a whole lot, look at the who is the best country thread you will see Germany with 55+ % of the votes.
Just saying, you are pretty quick to say Germany is superior, but I say, in what way?
Teaming up, no thanks just responding in my own way.

where you got that ranking from?
as of today Roddick is #7 - doesn't mean he can do anything but serve anyway.
And I thought the discussion was about EU vs US - or why are you trying to compare countries of complete different size

I see you know much about my life. Ignorance is bliss there again.
But it's always the #1 argument when you can't think of anything useful anymore

so why do you mention the host thing then when it doesn't matter at all? Just doesn't make sense.
And hosts usually are successful - considering the past, hosts have at least fulfilled the expectations. As of 2006, Germany was in no way favorite to win the cup.

Germany doesn't outnumber anybody in this forum. Ever seen a "[German match] discussion"-thread in here? for sure not, because we got our own football topic. Hence there's hardly any German active in here.
But for sure if you provide a link in the German forum in order to make people vote there the result will be "German". Doesn't mean you should spread false rumours anyway.

I see quite a few German people/supporters.
There is a Bayern fan thread, that is for discussion, and I've seen the flame firsthand when Bayern beat Juventus in the CL, I'm sure we'll see a whole lot more come WC, bank on it.
I was just stating that Germany were hosts in 2006, of course host =/= success in tournaments, and that isn't what I meant, if that is what you're getting at.
