This looks more like panic buying tbh. Shaw will be a great player for the team nonetheless however.

£28m Fellaini. £38m Mata. £29m Herrera. £34m Shaw. £129m in less than a year. Plus very high wages, Man United really need champions league football by next season, and I still think it's a big ask.

If Shaw was on £160k/w he would've been third highest earner at the club, simply not happening.
