It's nice to see what the other teams history is etc, going to start posting that from now on too :P

Goodluck to your boys!

Thanks, gl to your boys aswell. I opened the thread this morning and I didn't post until I came back ths afternoon, so I didn't notice today's posts :P

Yeah, I think it's cool to share a bit of the history of clubs that are often unknown to foreigners. I didn't do it very often while Mallorca was in Primera because half of the clubs require little introduction, but now that we're facing teams that most people outside of Spain have probabaly never heard of, I think it's interesting to add a little intro with the club's history. So yeah, it would be neat if you did that :D

Is there any real chance Standard will get kicked out? Honestly, I can't imagine such a thing happening, no matter how big the accusations are...

It won't happen most likely but the Pro League board is trying to make a point that Standard is really taking the piss out of everything.

Not sure if you knew this but a few years back Witsel broke Wasilewski's leg with a tackle 5x worse than Ruytinxs one (Witsel played for Standard) and Standard were all quiet during that period. They also have a name of having dirty players such as Ben Haim, Vainquer, Kanu etc who all make career ending tackles, but now that i happened vs one of their players they want to see a life long ban

FT 2-0

We are officially in the relegation zone. Something needs to change ASAP

Being down to 10 man is difficult but Charleroi got a man sent off too, let's hope the boys can recover from this

We have yet to win an away game this season, this has always been our problem imo. We are great at home most of the time, this year not so and the result is that we are in the relegation zone.

Then again 6-7 teams are fighting to stay in the division, so everything is possible.

Mallorca 4 - 1 Sabadell

Great performance! Our biggest victory this season, we need to play like we did today more often.

Now we're just outside the playoff spots by goal difference, and only 3 points away from the top... but only 6 above relegation lol, it's ridiculous how crammed the table is; any team that looses 2-3 games in a row can go from fighting for promotion to fighting to avoid relegation, and one that wins 2-3 in a row can go from relegation to promotion.

With 20 games to go, this is what Segunda looks like:

They got 1 points out of the first 8-9 games.

They were 12 points away from avoiding relegation and now they've cut down the distance by half. They've improved after they changed that manager... if they keep up like this I think they'll avoid going down.

The main problem they've been having this season is that 15 of the players they had last season are gone (either promoted, sold or on loan) and they've had a hard time buidling a new team. Also, the defense has been a mess, especially before they changed manager.
