Odd, it worked for me.
You need to login twice actually, first time it doesn't say anything and when you login for the second time, you get to choose a security question and answer.

so if i got it right..

i have to logg on fifa13 ut first to use the fifa14 ut app?

i havent been on ut13 since about.. 3-4 months.

nah you just needed to active your account on console
you should be able to use fut14 app
