Not that interesting. Dude got fitter, he needed to step up for the premier league after the first rather woeful season so he stopped going to the local chinese all you can eat and went to the gym instead.

If you're 28 and have been a footballer working hard for years on your fitness to get from the conference to the prem, some gym work over the summer isn't going to transform you from being a pretty quick player to being the fastest in the league.
Diminishing returns bro. It's like when people wrongly think a roided freak is natural just because he's been lifting for 10+ years, like you could build the same amount of muscle in your 10th year as in your 1st.
