That makes no sense. If we wanted to we would not extend the contracts and let them go on a free and pay less wages.

It makes sense, you just didn't get it (shocking!). He didn't say ArseAnal doesn't want them he just said that no other club wants them, that's why ArseNe Wiener can be so sure.
If City or Chelsea wanted them they would be gone. ;)
